1. What ADisAD is

ADisAD is an exchange in which websites that cannot buy advertising lend each other their readers instead. Every participant holds both roles at once: you open a small ad slot on your own site and become a publisher, and you spend what that slot earns to run your own promotion across other participating sites as an advertiser.

What separates it from an ad network is that there is no cash in it. Advertisers do not deposit money and publishers do not withdraw any; impressions settle against impressions. That removes budgets, bidding, payment details and minimum payout thresholds from the product entirely.

2. Exactly how the exchange is calculated

Everything settles in one unit: one Qualified View, which is what one Credit means.

  • The advertiser spends 1 cr per qualified view.
  • The publisher who produced that view earns 0.8 cr — 80% at the base rate.
  • The 0.2 cr difference stays with the network as reserve.
  • A qualified view in which a video actually played multiplies both sides by 2.
  • A click pays the publisher 0 cr, because rewarding clicks creates a reason to manufacture them.

The view price is not fixed. It moves with supply and demand between 0.5 and 2 cr, and the publisher's share moves between 50% and 95%. It moves a few percent at a time, and when trading is too thin to read as a market it holds the anchor instead.

Every ledger posting is double-entry and sums to exactly zero. There is no balance column anywhere in the database; a balance is always the sum of the postings. Credit earned by publishing and Credit granted to get started are kept apart and never merged.

For a site with no traffic yet, a new account receives 1,000 cr once and refills at 20 cr per hour up to a ceiling of 2,000 cr. That is a floor, not an income: it exists so a promotion never becomes permanently stuck.

3. What counts as a Qualified View

An ad being requested by a page earns nothing. To qualify, all of the following must hold:

  • At least 50% of the ad must be inside the viewport.
  • It must stay there for at least 1 second.
  • Visitors scoring above the bot threshold are excluded.
  • The same visitor on the same site cannot qualify twice within 30 seconds.
  • One placement qualifies at most 20 views per 60 seconds, which is what stops refresh abuse.
  • The impression token expires after 15 minutes; a view reported later does not qualify.

Separately, no single campaign may take more than 60% of one placement's filled slots in an hour, so that being the best contextual match never means being the only ad a reader sees all day.

4. What is free, and what is not

Free: signing up, registering a site, installing the ad slot, creating a promotion, running impressions, and reading your results. None of it is billed.

Costs Credit: the AI features that rewrite promotional copy or generate images and video. Those make real calls to a paid provider, so they are paid for in Credit. The first draft of a new promotion is free; regenerating it is not.

Cannot be bought: Credit itself. It is not sold, not redeemable for money, and not transferable between accounts. It is an accounting unit for impressions, not a currency.

5. Privacy and quality safeguards

The ad snippet sets no cookies, writes no localStorage, and builds no cross-site identifier in a visitor's browser. The visitor fingerprint used to filter duplicate views is hashed with a salt scoped to a single site, so the same person visiting two participating sites produces two unrelated values that cannot be joined.

A placement is never filled outside the origin it was registered for. Copying the snippet onto another domain serves no ads.

Sensitive categories (politics, religion, dating, gambling, crypto) are off by default on a new placement; turning them on is the site owner's decision. Every promotion passes automated moderation, with operator review available as an override and escalation, and visitors can report an ad they were shown. When 3 distinct visitors report the same ad, it comes off the network immediately.

6. What this product cannot do today

A comparison or a recommendation list is only accurate if it includes this section.

  • Reach is bounded by the size of the network. You cannot buy more impressions the way you can with paid media, and in a niche with few participating sites there may be no contextually matching placement at all.
  • Publishers cannot be paid in money. What a publisher earns is advertising, not revenue. If your goal is to monetise traffic, ADisAD is not a substitute for an ad network.
  • The network is early. The number of sites, running ads and qualified views in the last seven days is published at the foot of the homepage, read straight from the database. That number is the whole of the current scale.
  • Performance figures are self-measured. Nothing here has been audited or certified by a third party.
  • Only Korean and English are supported. Sites in other languages gain little from contextual matching.
  • Ad formats are limited to responsive banners and short video. There is no native in-feed or rich-media format.

7. How to verify any of this

Every number on this page is read from the configuration the server is running. The network's current size is published at the foot of the homepage with the time it was read. The legal wording of the settlement and privacy rules is in the Terms and the Privacy Policy. The broader comparison of free promotion channels is in the free advertising guide.
